I have admired this cocotte for a long time, and was so happy to finally get one. The fall is my favorite season, and I love bringing this out as soon as the leaves start falling off the trees.
It's a great size for storing Halloween candy as well as serving up some pumpkin bisque, my family's favorite.
I get so many compliments on it, and I am impressed with how well made it is. Doesn't hurt that it is actually made in France.

Beautiful & multitasking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an adorable cocotte! Beautiful and functional indeed! Perfect size for family of 4 and very heavy duty. And the one I received has more vibrant color than the one I saw in local stores. Maybe Staub has upgraded their manufacturing process. My cocotte just looks more “pumpkin” like. Love it!

This is actually a great and useable cast iron piece for squash soup or apple crisp. But I also leave it out on my stovetop throughout the fall season. Looks as beautiful as it performs.

I love this pot. Well its way more than a pot. It ads a bit of fall flair to my decor. I can cook in it and I can serve in it. It will definitely be on my Thanksgiving table this year. I love Staub and all the benefits of enamel coated cast iron but this piece is a work of art. Every detail is thought of to make it look like a true pumpkin and not a cartoon.
