Beautiful and Functional

I can't wait for fall to arrive again to pull out my pumpkin. It is so incredibly beautiful but functional as well. I bake bread, make soups and of course, sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving. It's the perfect serving piece because cast iron stays hot.

My favorite Fall pot

This was my very first piece of Staub cast iron. I received it as a gift for my October birthday and it immediately became my favorite pot. It comes out every October and stays on my stove top until Thanksgiving. I make soups, stews, chilis...everything in this little gem and it is the centerpiece of the Thanksgiving buffet with my baked stuffing in it. All the comfort foods of fall have a home in this beautiful pot!

This piece is truly in a class of its' own. It is so unique, there is nothing like it. I love to cook in this and use it as a serving piece, and when it is not being used for food, it sits out as a statement piece in my kitchen. It is a very well made, well thought out piece and totally worth the dollars.

favorite fall serving piece

Love the way this looks on my stovetop, but the opportunity to serve on the table makes it so much more important in my kitchen. The size is perfect for mashed potatoes and having a lid to keep them warm is great. The potatoes sit on the table but rather than aboring bowl the rest in a work of art!

Gorgeous Pot!

I love bringing this pot out for Halloween parties and my Thanksgiving table! I have made a great butternut squash soup and I have heated up the pot to keep the soup warm while on it's on the table or buffet. The orange is a beautiful puts me right into the fall spirit!

This has to be the cutest Staub collectable piece, and its fully functional. The interior has the famous Staub black matte finish so you pan fry in it. The cocotte heats up evenly and holds heat for hours. I use it to make soup and stews. And its always on our table in the fall as a decorative piece.

When Beauty and Function meet

This 3.5 qt cocotte is an heirloom beauty but it's function is equally as impressive. It's perfect for stews, soups, and slow cooking. I love to keep mine on top of my range so I can enjoy the details, down to the brass knob. This is dishwasher safe, but I prefer to hand wash my cocotte.
