Amazing Dutch Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my Saub dutch oven. I use mine for stews and meat dishes. This oven is amazing! The interior coating is a great non-stick surface. Nothing beats this pot for making good short ribs. This was a very worthy investment. And last but not least, it's absolutely a beautiful piece of cookware.

I purchased this Dutch oven to use with the Staub Induction Multi Cooker. The multi cooker is difficult to regulate temperature and not intuitive to use. Though the Dutch oven is good, I would not have purchased it as an individual piece.

So much better than Le Creuset

So much better than Le Creuset. I've had issues with all 4 of my Le Creuset dutch ovens over time. Eventually all of them cracked or pitted on the interior ceramic finish. I don't use it on high heat purposefully so that this does not happen and yet it eventually does.. They definitely do not last a lifetime as the company suggests.
Anyway, I decided to spend the additonal money and purchase the Staub Cast Iron Cocotte and it is by far a superior product. So easy to clean! Just a sponge and soap. It heats up so fast and the food cooks so much more easily and evenly without any hot spots. I'm in love with this dutch oven! It really makes the food taste better.
