One of the most popular sizes in the round cocotte and I do love it. I keep mine on the stove because I love the look, but I mainly keep it there because I use it so much. It is perfect for stove top or the oven and going from either to the table makes quite the statement!

This pan was a surprise gift that came out of the blue. Turns out it's something I didn't know I needed and now I totally love it. This sort of cooking is better suited to the winter months but I turned on the AC and kept going. So far, I've made two roasted chicken dishes and an onion soup. The 4-quart size has been large enough - at least so far. Can roast a whole (medium sized) chicken. Looking forward to winter stews in about 6 months. Until then, I'll focus on soups and the occasional roasted chicken and vegetables.

The turquoise color steals the show in my kitchen. Love how it pops in my all white kitchen. The size is perfect for making my family. Use it not only for stocks, soups, and stew, but is great for making mac and cheese. The cast iron helps for a scorch free cheese sauce, and can throw it in the oven to brown the bread crumbs. Nice to only use the one pan for prep, but is also great to serve from. Keeps everything nice and hot. Also great for no knead bread because it goes into the oven up to 500 degrees which is a requirement. This pan gets quite a work out in my home.
