I liked the sharpness of the knives out of the box. Clean and modern style fits in any kitchen. Good variety for any meal requirements. Good price for food quality.

Great, sharp knives

This knife set is the best I've ever owned! Sharp and sturdy feel. The only downfall, is that a couple of the knife slots seem too big, and the handles don't lay the same as other knives they're lined up with. For example, 2 of the 8 steak knives sit looser in their slots than the others, and when you look at this beautiful set, you can see they lay differently than the other 6.

I have had Henckels knives since I was a newlywed in 1989. I am so pleased with this set. The design is modern and appealing, the self sharpening aspect is delightful, and the knife variety is perfect. Well done, Henckels. You took a classic and made it modern.

I've been a fan of Zwilling and Henkels since I first used them. These knifes are sharp and they stay sharp. They look good and are manufactured solid. This set is complete and it hard to beat. The self sharpener makes it easy and saves time and the hassle of trying to sharpen them individually. We've become brand loyal and have asked for these as a gift only. Never going back to dull knives again!
