Excellent knife set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the weight and feel of the knives and they are very sharp. The block itself is larger than most but given it's self sharpening, I can live with that. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a quality knife set.

Love the self sharpening

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a sharpener built in takes the guess work out of the equation. I don’t have to go buy some lesser quality sharpener online to save some bucks. The built-in sharpener is made specifically for the type of metal alloy in the knives. I love that my knives stay tip-top shape all the time. The block has. Anoche matte finish. The metal cover on the top part keeps the block scratch free. The bottom part has no metal cover so you can easily scratch/stab the bottom part of the block when you pull the knives in or out. The knives are SHARP and stay SHARP.

I can’t speak to how well it holds up over a long time since I’ve had it less than a month, but the packaging was great, the block is beautiful when all the knives are in. It is more of a longer block than a taller block, so be prepared for that on your counter. The knives are sharp and well balanced. The variety it has is good and I feel like 8 is a good number of steak knives. Looking forward to enjoying them for years to come.
