Great Beginner Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First knife set. Self-sharpening feature is very convenient. Slots do seem a little big. Steak knifes are not what I am used to with a small section of serration and curved tip but work well. This was a gift and I am very happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hen kale is by far the most sought after, well worth the cost for such a precision knife. Its elegant and natural design fits perfectly in my hand, which makes my prepping skills even simpler and more efficient!

Large knife dull within months

We bought this knife block set with high hopes. Knives showed up with scratches on some of the handles. The “self sharpening” feature is laughable at best. Yes the knives are great quality but the large kitchen knife is almost useless at this point. Why advertise the knife block as “self sharpening” when that is not the case? I would have purchased a cheaper knife block with out the gimmick of a self sharpening feature. I am disappointed with our purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love this knife set! Love that it’s self sharpening and has the perfect array of what we need in our kitchen. We’ve been exploring cooking more and more and this set has come in handy so many times! Would definitely recommend and buy from this company again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set is great so far. Chose this for the (mostly) not made in China, and overall positive reviews. Nice and light, will it stand up to heavy cutting/chopping...we'll see. Don't know if the self-sharpening works well, but we'll see on that as well.
