I certainly enjoy these knives, and am pleased to see the block is self-sharpening. This prolongs the lifespan of the knives for sure! The block is heavy and sturdy, and I enjoy the fact that each spot has its own designation regarding which knife goes where. My only complaint would be the tips of the knives. I wasn’t aware just how pointed they would be, which just seems a bit dangerous for a novice cook like myself! So far, no accidents so I’m knocking on wood that my luck continues!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The block having sharpeners in the knife slots is a great idea. I take the time to sharpen my knives almost every time I use them, so I expect this block might save me a bit of that effort. I haven't used the knives or block yet, but they wanted a review during product registration, for which I have been offered another product in exchange.
