[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At 58 years old and after 37 years of marriage, this is the best knife set of ever had. I didn't have to sharpen them when I removed from box and theyy slice through food like butter. They also came in a wonderful variety such as butcher knife, paring & steak knives, etc. and the block is beautiful.

You can tell that it is really good quality as the knife has a good weight in your hand. I was able to piece through chestnuts quite easily with the knives. Highly recommended.

Best knives ever

When the handles began to degrade (rubber) and the blades were rusting, I started looking for quality knowing that if I wanted something to last I was going to have to pay a little more. Well I am over the moon for these knives! They are perfectly balanced, streamline, have a great weight to them, SHARP (shaved my sons arm hair straight out of the box!), and above all they are beautiful on my counter! Definitely worth the investment and would buy again. Everyone who has come into my home has commented on them. If I could give 10 stars I would!

A Knife for Every Task

I wanted a block set that would also have steak knives so was thrilled to come across this set with 8 steak knives! There is a knife for every kitchen task in this set. The knives are made of a high grade stainless steel and they are made in Spain. Knives are sharp out of the box and have kept their sharp edge since their purchase 6 months ago. Use at least two different ones daily. Great price for excellent set.

Classic look and feel to these forged knives. I'm a fan of the classic three rivet look. Every piece is sharp, durable and well balanced.
