Beautiful Product, Ugly Scratch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is traditionally a good brand, and the knives do not appear to disappoint. However, our brand new block came out of the box with a huge scratch on the knife block. We are disappointed that the product got packed this way.

Nice Set, Needs Better Packaging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great knives, love the full tang and the weight/balance of this series. Disappointed though in the packaging, my brand new block is cracked in the corner, no apparent damage to the box either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knives look very nice and well made except one of the steak knives had a slight burr ( I assume it will be removed on the first sharpening) and the storage block had some small scratches in the lower right. Not big problems but when you save up to spend money on a good knife set you want them to be perfect.

Great knives, horrible block

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knives are great quality and well-balanced. However, the slots in the knife block are super loose fitting, and so the knives sit super wonky. Some tilt left, others tilt right. It makes a good set look cheaply made.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice set and block

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knives are sharp out of the box and look great on the countertop. I have only used them a handful of times so we’ll see how the edge holds up over the next few months. I did the standard tomato test and cut a tomato with the 8” chef’s knife translucent thin with ease. I also used it cut chicken and pork for a fried rice recipe and it made short work of it. I like the feel in your hand. I only took one star for the steak knives not being made in Spain with the rest. Not sure what the difference is other than the blades feel a bit more flexible/flimsy than I’d like in a steak knife.

This 16-piece knife block set is a great value, these knives work for all your prep, cutting, slicing and dicing, they are comfortable to hold and always stay sharp

I really love this set, it comes with all of the essentials blades plus eight quality steak knives. The handles on these knives are super comfortable and the German steel blades stay super sharp for a long time. They are perfectly weighted and balanced and this set is at an unbeatable price.
I would recommend this to a friend!
