Henckels failed on this one

I have owned other Henckels products and was so excited when I received this set as a gift. Unfortunately they are just awful - the don't provide a clean cut, the micro-serrated edge shreds and doesn't provide a smooth clean cut. I pulled my old knives out of storage in the garage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
