Don't cut straight

e got this as a wedding gift and the knives look good and are of what looks like high quality however they are terrible to cut with. Small stuff is okay but when you try to cut through a bigger item you cant cut straight. The knives only are sharpened on the left side of the blade, if you call serration a form of a sharp blade. Every time you try to cut though something it cuts on a angle due to the blade being angled. For instance if I want to cut a potato thinly I have to make the top larger and the bottom will come out thinner, so it cuts wedges. It is very annoying to use these knives let alone because of the serration they dont cut smoothly. Maybe this is just my take on it but I am used to regular bladed knives and these just dont cut it for me.

Poor Knife Set

My husband and I received this nice said approximately six months ago for our house warming. The knives have already dulled and have a lot of rust buildup. It is impossible to cut anything. I have tried all sorts of products to correct the rusting, it keeps getting worse.
We were looking forward to this product.
Sadly we are unable to return it and are forced to purchase a new set of knives.

J.A. Henckels make great knifes, not this set!

I have two J.A. Henckels knife sets at my summer home and have gifted a set to my parents, all great knife sets. I purchased the never need sharpening Silvercap set for my winter home and am very disappointed with them. Will be shopping for a regular set of J.A. Henckels knives.

These don’t cut, they tear the food.

We received these as a wedding gift and have used them quite a bit. I’ve tried to get used to them, I’ve tried to like these but at the end of the day I just want to throw them away. They’re advertised as never having to sharpen because they have a “micro-serrated” edge. This edge doesn’t cut food, it tears it. Almost acts like a really poorly sharpened edge of a normal knife. It’s not very safe or effective. That being said we’ve thrown them in the dishwasher and they haven’t rusted or broken so at least the build quality is good. I would not recommend these to anyone.

Best knife set you’ll ever need to buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you think of knife sets you only think of henckles. Totally unmatched and unequivocally outperforms the competition. These knives stay as sharpe from day one to year 10. You can’t compete with pure quality and craftsmanship. Anyone that knows anything about knives knows that henckles is top of the line and hopefully top of your list!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely beautiful to start. I knew the second I picked up the heavy box at the store I was in for a great product. Now a days most knife sets are cheap plastic or something like it. This product is strong and beautiful and the stainless steel holds up as it should! Not rusting or changing in color.

Love these knifes!!
