Nice set with serrated blades

I bought this set to replace my old 12 pc Henckel set that I've been using for 10 years or more. This new set has serrated blades vs. straight and I read a review stating the blade doesn't cut straight -- so I tried it and indeed, you have to adjust your technique to cut at an angle to get even slices. This is easier with the larger knives where you can chop. The handle material is smoother and bulkier than my old set. Overall, the block and look is very nice and fits with my kitchen. I think it will take some adjustment though to use the serrated blades.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dream knife set

Before I was constantly sharpening my knives and they would not hold an edge for mor then one use; not anymore! Looking forward to many years use without the continual sharpening hassle! Lifetime Warranty to boot.

All stek knives and 2 of the larger rusted within 2 weeks...Just like my Ginsu my favorite Chinese knives... blah super disappointed

Great Knives

I love these knives! This is the only brand I use. Only complaint is my 5" Hollow Edge Santoku Knife has a developed a crack in the handle. Not sure how this happened. I don't wash them in the dishwasher, I hand wash them. Hoping I can get a replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once received, it was well packaged and I loved that it had tip covers. I unpacked each one and placed them accordingly. The knives were very sharp and had an elegant but rustic feel and look. They were just the right size and will work well with what meals I will prepare!
