Lacking quality?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well the kettle itself does what a kettle does, heats water, and does so fairly quickly. Two things to keep in mind with this product is that the glossy base is difficult to keep finger print and dust/streak free but more importantly, after just 6 months of twice a day use, the scale filter screen broke off. This does not appear to affect the efficiency of the kettle but does support the idea that quality of products is a thing of the past. So sad!
I would recommend this to a friend!

the body does get hot (after some time of use.) It's a kettle. supposed to boil water. what do you want me to say?!

Thank you for your review and for your feedback. The outer housing becomes warm, however, with continuous back to back usage the housing will get hot. It should be considered that all people have a different perception of warmth. Therefore, caution is required when handling heated devices.

Didn't last long

Purchased 13 months ago. Excited when first received. It worked as it's expected. But only for about 1 year and then broke right after warranty. When it worked, it worked. Everything's fine. I actually quite enjoyed using it.

Rust Problem

Love the kettle but I have the same issue as other people with rust developing at the bottom of the kettle.Can't get it to clean off and makes me nervous about drinking the rusty water. Sadly, I can't recommend what otherwise is a great kettle.

Unit was dead on arrival and never worked once.

Purchased as a gift. Just took it out and cleaned it and all appears to be new. However, after a brief flash of all the controls the unit has no power. I’ve followed all directions. It has water, connected properly, etc. The outlet works (I’ve checked it with a multimeter and also tried other appliances. Also tried a second outlet that works fine (new house). The unit is simply dead. Returning and not sure I want another one considering this is a higher end brand and a pricey item for what it does and it came out of the box dead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Rusted after 1 month

We had the kettle for one month and it is now rusted inside and on the lid.

To prevent rust and other corrosion, be sure to hand wash and promptly and thoroughly dry the kettle after use.

Great product & beautiful design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a kettle like no other. Looks great, works even better. Temperature control, touch screen, boils water to set temperature accurately, ease of use and clean. Features and function are advanced. The cool touch feature is the best, no more heat burns if you accidentally touch the exterior.
