There’s nothing not to like about this kettle. 212F in about 90 seconds 3/4 full kettle. Closer to 2 minutes at full kettle. There are prettier countertop kettles out there I suppose but I wouldn’t trade this one for any of them. I’ve had most of the higher end ones to compare. The controls are everything you need and nothing you don’t. Very simple and straight forward. If you think you need one degree control over temp, this is not the kettle for you. For the rest of us, this does everything you need in a simple package that is easy to maintain and clean.

So far so good - with some minor issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I am enjoying the tea kettle. It heats up quickly and it's very nice looking. Some issues I am seeing that aren't deal breakers, but wanted to note: I can't really clean the kettle well. The lid doesn't come off at all and makes it hard to clean. I use the vinegar as instructed but there is still already build up in the kettle. I don't use all of the features (like heat a baby bottle). The very hot setting gets REALLY hot, like so hot that it steams up my cabinets just behind where I have the kettle placed (and I don't have the lid open at all).
