Rust less than 1 year

Rust starts to develop less than 1 year. I question the QA of the company and the craftmanship.

While there are a few factors for stainless steel to rust like Mineral build up or the Chlorine water level. We suggest decalcifying your Kettle regularly following the steps in your user manual. Great Expectations!

Electric Kettle Pro arrived last night. Easy set up and instructions. Have great hopes of this lasting longer than my last (different brand) kettle (10 years). All the settings seem to work, haven't tried the baby bottle.

The touch pad is a nuisance. Whether one uses a soft touch or presses, it does not always come on. Save your money and buy a cheap hot water kettle. I thought this was a quality product.
