Well deserved second chance

I just received a replacement after the first one broke down after three weeks of regular use. Stuff happens. I choose the option of replacement because I was very happy, perfect blending, easy to clean, beautiful design.

Great personal size blender

By far the best one we have owned. Easy to use and easy to clean, and it has a pre-set timer built in so that you push the button to start and leave it to do its thing. Stops automatically and you know your smoothie is ready to enjoy!

Remove the seal for thorough cleaning

I've been using the Personal Blender almost daily for a year and I've been very happy with its performance blending my protein smoothies. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because nowhere in the manual it mentions that the rubber seal in the base is removable for cleaning. I thought the seal was permanently attached to the base. I found it was removable by chance after several months of use because I could not figure out why the tumbler smelled bad when I stored it with the base screwed in. One day I noticed some dried flakes where the seal fits in. I used a brush but the bristles would not do the job, so I started cleaning it with the edge of a dull letter opener. I did not want to use a knife for obvious reasons, and while cleaning it I saw that the seal could be removed. Since then, I've been removing the seal for cleaning every time I use the blender, and this has solved the smell problem. It's also unfortunate that its design makes it necessary to use something to pry it out of its channel and it cannot be done with bare hands.

Beyond my expectations

First, great design. The aesthetic is contemporary but "blends" in any kitchen. Second, the blender is easy to operate, easy to clean and easy to store, three factors very important for me. I just used for a smoothie for the first tiem and the result left me surprised. The texture is perfect. Highly recommended.

I love the blender drinking glass look

Quiet and smooth modern blender,sleek design looks and blends well to live in the countertop all the time.The blender cup looks elegant almost like a regular drinking glass, the lid looks smoothly and tightly.

1 mo old - stopped working.

I am SO BUMMED, got mine for Christmas 1 mo ago and it has just stopped working. Used it 5 or 6 times and now it won't turn on anymore. So frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
