Stopped Working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the look, the small scale and the initial performance of this blender, but it stopped working after one week of light use. The control panel stopped appearing and it would no longer turn on. Disappointed, as I had high hopes.

This blender is sleek and looks great on the counter. When it worked, I was very pleased with it. The container and lid are well designed and great for on the go. Unfortunately, the blender entirely stopped working after about 3 weeks and 12-15 smoothies. Given that short life and unreliability, I wanted to return it for a refund. It was considered "used" so could only return it and wait for a replacement. I am sick and was using the smoothies to improve my nutrition and hydration. Waiting on Zwilling seems ridiculous at this point. Note that if you purchase this, try it and find it not well suited to your needs or broken, you cannot return it for a refund.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best personal blender so far

The motor performs strong, and it feels like the build is more solid than my previous personal blender by Cusinart, which mysteriously died on me as soon as the warranty lapsed.

The machine isn’t quiet when running… I am not talking about the ice crushing noise. The machine itself is louder then expected.
Will I return the product? No
I’ve tried different personal blenders and I actually like this one.
The design is a plus, but really well made
Don’t get blendjet or any rechargeable ones
They are horrible and waste of money

Blender has some issues .....

I have bought two of these blenders. In some ways it is good - but recurring problems are unacceptable. In each case the latch of the travel lid has broken almost immediately. How does this keep happening for a self-proclaimed "luxury brand" ??? This is a major design flaw. Once ok -- but twice ?? Come on. Also -- the base of the blender is small on the inside area and if you cup is too full it will easily leak and make the base a big mess with intricate areas that are almost impossible to clean. Another design problem ....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
