Rubber ring

Works ok. A couple of times it made a weird noise after running for a bit and I have no idea why. Not great for nuts but it was a gift, so I don't mind. Add nuts last when you are filling cup up so they are closer to blade. Also the booklet doesn't mention this but the rubber part of the blade base is detachable and you absolutely have to remove it to completely clean the device. Otherwise food stuff will definitely build up under it even if you think you thoroughly cleaned it. I do wish the cord was smooth so it was easier to clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does the job quickly and very well. Nice looking, blender blade up to the task, appears to be high quality engineering. Very pleased with the product and the smoothies it produces. I only wish that a replacement/extra jar and lid were priced properly. How is it possible that a plastic jar and lid - with no mechanical parts mind you, is 40% of the item's full cost??

Travel lid did not last 7 uses

Blender itself does a great job with smoothies and has a reasonable footprint for my small kitchen. Unfortunately the locking slide/flip button on the travel lid broke before I had used it 10 times. Really disappointed in this quality from Zwilling when the travel lid is the way to drink from the blender cup. Hopeful they will replace.

I am SO BUMMED, got mine for Christmas 1 mo ago and it has just stopped working. Used it 5 or 6 times and now it won't turn on anymore. So frustrating.

Remove the seal for thorough cleaning

I've been using the Personal Blender almost daily for a year and I've been very happy with its performance blending my protein smoothies. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because nowhere in the manual it mentions that the rubber seal in the base is removable for cleaning. I thought the seal was permanently attached to the base. I found it was removable by chance after several months of use because I could not figure out why the tumbler smelled bad when I stored it with the base screwed in. One day I noticed some dried flakes where the seal fits in. I used a brush but the bristles would not do the job, so I started cleaning it with the edge of a dull letter opener. I did not want to use a knife for obvious reasons, and while cleaning it I saw that the seal could be removed. Since then, I've been removing the seal for cleaning every time I use the blender, and this has solved the smell problem. It's also unfortunate that its design makes it necessary to use something to pry it out of its channel and it cannot be done with bare hands.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Product Description/specifications misleading

I ordered the Enfinigy Personal blender as I have been looking for a personal blender for my hot beverages. The description on the web site states that the jar is heat & cold resistant. On the Sur La Table website, the description states that is it good for "healthy soup". When I opened up the box. it clearly states on the Tritan jar that it is not to be used for hot beverages, consequently I will be returning the item as it does not meet my expectations based on product information.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
