The mouse works very well and connects to the computer quickly. The only quirk I have experienced is with the scroll wheel. When needing to scroll quickly or down multiple screens the scroll wheel squeaks quite loudly. It does not always happen but it happens frequently enough that it's worth mentioning. Besides that, it's a good looking comfortable peripheral.
The mouse is basic. A few little issues: the USB interface sticks out too far, The location of the cover slot took a while to notice. The battery was loose in the box and I almost missed it. hopefully, the ON LED does not drain the battery too quickly.. Accidentally dropped it during setup. It came apart and dumper the battery, but it appears to be robust and went together easily and functions well.
I've only been using the wireless mouse for a couple of weeks, but so far, I've been very pleased with it. It's compact and has a button to turn it on and off to preserve the battery (which comes with it -- I didn't realize this, but am glad I double-checked a little cardboard flap in the box it came in before consigning to our burn pile! The battery is supposed to be a long-lived one). Most importantly, the wireless mouse seems to be very precise, and to perform just as a well as a mouse with a cord. I haven't tried other wireless mice and added this one to my order at the last second -- but I'm very glad I did. The fewer cords the better!
