Light, Powerful and really well designed

The packaging was really designed to protect the laptop; as I configured mine this was on the top scale of cost, so I was very pleased with this protection as it was shipped to me. Once I had it up and running, the first thing obviously noticed is the excellent screen, the colors and clarity is simply amazing. As I configured my laptop with the 4k OLED display, the screen is excellent. The speed of the machine equally matched my expectations, as I am running the I9 CPU. I really like the camera based login to Windows 10, it recognizes my face every time, i do not even have to directly look at it, excellent. Lastly the weight of the laptop is certainly a welcome addition, my previous laptop was heavier, and this Carbon covered laptop is really thin and quite light !! -- excellent work - Highly recommended.

I just wish Lenovo would finally reverse their Fn and Ctrl keys.

Start Up Problem

I purchased this laptop a little more than one months ago. At this price, I am expecting a high quality computer. However, this laptop is malfunctioned. After being turned on, the laptop sometimes will go to the sleep mode and can't be waken up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Won't charge, right out of the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box, it won't charge! For the first week I kept it plugged in and worked from a desk. I then ran the battery down working remotely, and when I returned I plugged it in overnight to charge it for the first time. In the morning, the battery was still at around 20% so I figured I didn't have the plug in tightly. Moved it to a different outlet and continued to use it plugged in, not noticing over the next few days it was not increasing at all. It wasn't decreasing, it just wasn't charging. After I noticed it, I checked the interwebz and sure enough, it's a common problem (come on... isn't it 2021? I don't have a robot butler but at *least* my laptop should charge!). Turns out you have to jump to BIOS and disable the battery... which yes, I know sounds counterintuitive, but there you have it.
Disabled the battery via BIOS (Unplug -> Search -> Settings -> Update & Security -> Recovery -> Restart Now -> Entire BIOS mode -> Navigate to Power -> Select Disable Battery -> Once laptop shuts down, wait 30 seconds, plug back in and turn on)
Once you do this, it will charge, and the battery still works (so you can use it unplugged). Don't ask me why "disabling the battery" doesn't actually "disable the battery". Whatever. It works now.
Otherwise the screen is awesome (OLED), keyboard is awesome, and time will tell for the rest of it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
