Kind of loud. Eassy and simple to use. I don't like how the bottom rack is set up. Kind of hard to space out plates.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Read the manual

Like most reviewers, this machine does feel cheaply made. I came here to find the manual because my apartment installed this unit a few days ago. It had ran fine the first but second time we ran it, everything was still soaking wet. Looks like the 1 hour is just a rinse cycle so there is no soap dispensed or drying function. So I ran the machine again in Normal and waited for the Clean light to come one. Dishes came out clean and dry. Moral of the story, read the manual. Lol.
This unit replaced a much sturdier but older dishwasher that we used for 12 years. It cleans just fine. Eventhough it's quite basic with no separate buttons for steaming or drying, it just means it will use less energy and I will air dry the items more often. Not a deal breaker. Just happy to have a functional dishwasher!

It is very basic but gets the job done.

I have had better "feeling" dishwashers at this price point, but, apparently times have changed. When I open the door on this thing it just feels flimsy, thin, cheap plastic, feels like I can break the door, other than that, it has 3 cleaning cycles, it does the job well as far as I am concerned, it's all I need, just wish the door "felt" better, but this does not effect functionality. It does clean well as long as you follow "dishwasher rules" and the owners manual, install is simple.

Works however

This dish washer works well but is very flimsy the bottom rack never stays on track. You have to wrestle with it to rool back into the tub. The rollers fall off easily. This machine needs some sturdier material.

The materials are cheap and made out of plastic. It doesn’t feel sturdy. It sounds loud during the wash. The dishes do come out clean and dry.

We'd like to lend a hand with your new dishwasher. With the unit not feeling sturdy, it may need to be leveled. The dishwasher must be leveled left to right and front to back. We recommend referring to page 10 of the installation instructions for guidance. Here is the link: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--o3qf-gw5--/492ab846f22e21cede3855223e99daa9f4a22306.pdf
As far as the sounds, actual sound levels can be a little different once an appliance is installed in the home. You might find your dishwasher is quieter or louder than the decibel rating suggests (This unit has a dBa of 60). The sound level of a dishwasher can depend on the installation location, the cabinetry where it is located, the flooring, the countertop above it, what's loaded in the dishwasher, and even whether the dishwasher is full of dishes or partially empty.
You can refer here for more information on sounds: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16269
Your comments regarding the unit are important to us and will be considered by our product design team for review.

We want to help you with your dishwasher's operation. We recommend Pouring 1 quart of water into the dishwasher to lubricate the pump seals and eliminate rattling and squealing. Allow the dishwasher to run for up to 10 minutes, then check to see if more water has entered the tub. Additional troubleshooting can be found here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17392
If your issue persists after troubleshooting, we recommend scheduling service with one of our Bodewell technicians by calling 1-833-426-3393 or visiting us online at: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
