I didn't need a new dishwasher, but when I saw this one on clearance, I couldn't resist. Its fabulous. Selection is usually slim for the 18" models, but this one has everything I could want and looks great. It works wonderfully too.

Only had it a couple of weeks. Works exactly as expected. Have other older Profile series appliances in our home. Parts availability and ease of repair are the reasons why I bought another GE Profile product.

My Mistake

I replaced the old one with this product....it does Not clean well at all. And, worst of all, there was no operating instructions with the delivery...so I looked online and found little help. I started it at approx. 10PM last night....opened the door at Midnight.....left the door open....and the green light was Still on at NOON today. Why does it Not shut off ??????
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My grandparents bought this as a house warming gift and we LOVE it. It is just me and my husband living in the household, we use it to wash all of our plates, silverware & tupperware. We could not be happier with this, it is very sleek looking. The delay start is my favorite feature so it can run through its cycle while we are sleeping.

My parents never owned a dishwasher, so I grew yo not knowing anything about them. But when a friend decided to gift me an 18 inch unit I thought, why not.
Now I cant imagine a day without a dishwasher. This little guy not only helps me save water and time, it has improved my life. Being a loyal GE customer for many years, it’s nice to know that GE still brings good things to my life.
