Why build a dishwasher that doesn’t dry the dishes

I agree with so many of the negative reviews. This dishwasher has a very long cycle but it does not include drying the dishes, especially plastics. It doesn’t help to just leave the door after the cycle is finished. Somehow the very wet dishes remain that way. I’m not even certain if it’s using hot water? I’ve seen reviews where you’ve left help guides but I can’t access them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to assist you with your dishwasher. This unit includes a dry boost option (for heavy cycles) and a heated dry option (for normal cycles). For more information on these features and how they work, please refer to page 6 of the owner's manual. If the dishes still won't dry even when these options are selected, please refer to the troubleshooting on page 20.
If the suggestions above don't seem to help, you can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliances technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
