Compact Unit: Great for Small Kitchens

The 18" is a great size for studio apartments/condos. Nice hidden controls. Installation was easy, but it does not come with all the parts necessary to install new (rather than replace). Unit is pretty noisy as compared to other models. This can be solved with extra noise insulation and/or the way product is installed. So far it cleans dishes, pots, and pans pretty well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Leaked during wash cycle

Part of GE appliances in new condo unit purchased April 30, 2019. Leaked on floor and under cabinets during wash cycle during first time it was used. Installed by builder of Mira Flats Condominium, Bellevue, WA, who is also responsible for warranty and/or replacement
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I didn't need a new dishwasher, but when I saw this one on clearance, I couldn't resist. Its fabulous. Selection is usually slim for the 18" models, but this one has everything I could want and looks great. It works wonderfully too.

Durable and reliable

Only had it a couple of weeks. Works exactly as expected. Have other older Profile series appliances in our home. Parts availability and ease of repair are the reasons why I bought another GE Profile product.

My Mistake

I replaced the old one with this product....it does Not clean well at all. And, worst of all, there was no operating instructions with the delivery...so I looked online and found little help. I started it at approx. 10PM last night....opened the door at Midnight.....left the door open....and the green light was Still on at NOON today. Why does it Not shut off ??????
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
