Cheap junk which does not dry utensils

Someone wrote "cheap pile of junk"...I am going to repeat the same. The dishwasher is poor in built and overall performance. It does not dry the dishes and the condensation can be seen on the inside walls. This model does not have "dry boost" which is available in other models. It is a BIG problem. In addition, the racks are shallow and very poorly designed. It is 2023 and one can very well see the "inflation" has a direct impact on product quality.

Water remaining at the bottom of the unit is normal. However, of the dishes aren't drying correctly, there are a few things you can check. Please refer to the link here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17451.
Dishwashers are tested at the factory before they are shipped. If your new dishwasher has some water inside the tub or if there is water dripping from the drain hose, causing condensation, this is normal.
If the suggestions above don't seem to resolve the issue, please take full advantage of your warranty and schedule a service appointment. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliances technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm

Not what I expected

I am disappointed at the quality of this dishwasher, the racks don't slide very well and it is very noisy (we bought if for a studio apartment and you would never be able to run it while you were sleeping). It seems cheap and flimsy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn’t dry dishes and cheaply made. Drawer rack fly’s right off the rails when pulling it towards you.

DO NOT BUY IT!!

Does NOT dry the dishes at all!! The lower rack keeps coming off its tracks. Very noisy. Has NO wash cycles except normal, heavy and 1 hour. The worst dishwasher I've ever used and I suspect it is not water efficient either!!

Complete junk, GE should be embarrassed!

One star because it cleaned the dishes. However, the craftsmanship and quality of this machine is terrible. The door moves side to side when open/closing and one side needs to be forcibly pushed in for a flush closure. The bottom rack is a mess, it NEVER stays on the "track" regardless if the rack is full of dishes or completely empty. The door feels very hollow and plastic plus cheap. The silverware holder is small and just sits on/in the bottom rack, unsecured-likely part of the issue of the rack coming off the rails every time its pulled out. This is also a small unit. It looks like a standard size, but inside is very small and with our family of 4, we will have to run this unit at minimum once a day. GE used to offer quality appliances, but for this price don't walk, RUN away to buy something else.

This dishwasher couldn't possibly be a worse design. There is no vent on the unit, making it impossible to have dry dishes. The sprayers are so low that you can't wash tongs or chili pots, and they won't even touch the dishes on the outer sides of the rack. There is no designated pre-wash fill slot and no option for high heat or heated dry. The build quality is garbage, the only part that feels OK is the seal in the door, which is ironic because it already does so well at keeping the dishes wet. The cycles are so long, too. The heavy cycle takes 4 hours and doesn't even remove all the residue from your dishes. This product should be avoided.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

THIS IS TRASH

This dishwasher came with my apartment - they installed it brand new. It is THE WORST dishwasher I have ever had and my last apartment had a dishwasher from the 90's that worked better than this one. Condensation is awful, dishes do not dry, wheel track is garbage - I have to fight to get the bottom rack in and out. Not sure what to do because it is an apartment, but I am almost willing to see if they would let me buy my own of another brand and install it. I just can't with this dishwasher. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE BUY THIS DISHWASHER - IT IS TRASH!
