The computer came poorly packaged. The box in which the computer was packaged was greatly oversized and it slide around in the box due to insufficient bubble wrap.. At the present time, it has "frozen" more than 6 times since I booted it up and installed the software and Google 2019. I would appreciate a service call to determine if I have all the software needed.
Ordered was recieved too late with damages on the box: I ordered a labtop 40 days ago. I just got it today Jan 5 2021, with many damages, holes, and dents on the box. Labtop is not clothes to be handled like this, most probably this box, has been tossed, dropped, and who knows to become like this that has so many damage done to the box. I am going to request to return this product or replaced by a solid-sound-packaging.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop is a solid performer. I really like how the case looks and feels. My only complaint is with the touchpad. It insists that my thumb is a right click instead of a left click even after disabling the two finger right click.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of the touchpad is very poor. Had this computer not been a gift this touchpad would have been a gamechanger for me and I would have selected a different computer.
1. The touchpad is much too big. With the result a much larger touchpad gives rise to accidental commands by a shirtsleeve or your forearm.
2. The location of the two buttons for "right click" and "left click" on top of the touchpad are much too close to the space bar and are often confused with the space bar.
3. The "left click" and "right click" buttons should be located at the bottom of the touchpad so that you can hold down these buttons with you thumb and manipulate the touch pad with your index finger. Unfortunately since the "left click" and "right click" buttons are located at the top of the touch pad, one has to depress the buttons with an index finger and manipulate the touch pad with a finger of your other hand. This means that two hands are required instead of just one hand.
4. The touch pad is much too slippery. A bit more traction on the touchpad would have been welcome.
5. The symbols for "period", "comma", "semicolon", and "apostrophe" should be a bit more bold. These symbols on the keyboard are much too fine. I am constantly confusing a comma for a period. I plan to paint these symbols onto my keyboard with white nail polish or something to avoid future confusion between these symbols.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have only had the EliteBook two weeks - love the speed - size of keys which include numbers pad - has the additional mouse inside keying area and keyboard lights upon touch. Light weight and screen is clear an right sized.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually bought two of EliteBook 850 G7 notebooks. Once for my personal use with digital content creation and one for my wife's home-based recruiting business. Both of us are very impressed with the speed of the new PCs as well as their depth of computing power. Great investment!! Recommend this PC to anyone who needs a solid notebook with excellent performance and capability.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid system. A little too much extra software by HP installed.
