[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Laptop Computer for my granddaughter's Christmas present. I ordered it before Thanksgiving and it arrived the day before Christmas. It was made and shipped from China in a timely manner, but was held in Customs for nearly two weeks. This happened because, according to the tracking information, Customs was told by the "customer", ie HP not to expedite it. Why would you do that?? Perhaps my hounding Fed Ex allowed it to at least get here before Christmas, but that shouldn't have happened. This is the reason I'm giving it 3 stars rather than 5 as my Granddaughter really likes the computer, and it looks to me to be a high quality machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been using the computer for a few weeks now and it's worked great. It got it primarily to use for work and it's been much faster than my previous computer. The battery life is long, it's relatively light weight, making it easy to carry from room to room when I need more/less privacy and quiet. My chief issue with the computer is that I got it with a camera and it's not great. The few times I've used the camera, it's been fuzzy and the cover for the camera doesn't move (I have to knock my computer on the side to make gravity move it out of the way). Other than that, the computer's been great.
