Frustrations of replacing new unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit a few weeks ago. It was a replacement for basically the same model we had installed in 2009. It was the only unit for undercounter with the ability to add the wood front panel to match the rest of the cabinetry. This unit was more than 2.5 times more expensive. When I received the unit the wood panel mounting was different. The hinges were different and I had to carefully route out a section of the corners so the panel would be able to mount. Then the m4 x 30 mm screws came up missing to mount the panel. I called and Kitchen Aide sent out 4 incorrect screws which I waited 2 weeks to get. I went out and bought my own screws which came about the same time. Front panel was not the only problem. The corner hinges had plastic corners that exceeded the height of the wine cooler and had to be modified to be made shorter. Finally after much frustration the replacement unit is installed and working great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wine Cooler - OK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shelves are hard to pull out and are not adequate in terms of height for some bottles of wine. I had a different brand for years and left it behind when we moved. Same capacity but shelves much more user friendly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't expect it to hold full capacity

Only the bottom shelf will fit chardonnay or Pinot noir style bottles. Also most bottles won't fit with every other bottle reversed to get the maximum capacity. Can really only fit 4 bottles per shelf if you have a variety of bottle shapes. Also, it doesn't make sense that the "cold" wines are recommended to go in the upper zone and the warmer ones in the lower....more energy efficient to keep the cold on the bottom, but you can't set it to do that. It does look nice and mine has been running for about 2 years without issues, but I wish I looked at other models before purchasing this one.

No longer cooling after 2 years

Product was included in our build with pulte it's only been 2 years and system is no longer cooling. Did the typical resetted and clean and still not cooling.
