Good features

Overall a good product, however, for the amount of money spent, a few features that are not easy to use or available at all is a bit puzzling. For example, there is no clock….there is a display to show the temperature and to set the timer, but no clock which is an adjustment I have had to make to rely now on my microwave clock which is not in line of site like the range. Secondly, the timer function and how to set it for me is cumbersome…feel it should be way simpler to set the timer for either hour or minute quickly and you should be able to see the time, both minutes and second wind down. Lastly, the various burner functionality is nice to have, however, having them both in the front does make when cooking many things on all burners a bit challenging. For me personally, it would be nice to have the larger burner in the back.

Problems within first year

Oven won’t heat to temperature, had this range one year and already having problems. Not the quality you want for the price !!!

Almost perfect

The appliance looks great and works great most of the time. However, sometimes when you turn on the top burners, all the burners spark continuously while that one’s running. We also had some broken knobs we noticed soon after delivery. Unfortunately, the working part of the knob on the inside is plastic, and that piece broke. The company did get us some new knobs and they’ve worked well ever since. The stove is a nice upgrade in size over the regular size stove. Nice capacity, just has the burner issue since day one.

exhaust fan discolored our backsplash

We have ALWAYS used GE so in our new kitchen remodel this was a no brainer. I will warn people the back exhaust fan gets hot. It has discolored our “ heat resistant “ quartz backsplash in less than 4 months. I always cook or bake with the hood fan on but the heat is still a lot, it sits against the wall. We do not use this oven more than the average person, I would say less. I have not even used the broiler out of fear of the temps. Most people looking to buy this great looking stove most likely will have a nice backsplash. Just make sure your backsplash can tolerate a lot of heat. Stove otherwise works well and is nice looking.

Stopped preheating.

We were so excited to get our new Cafe installed and ready to use. We used the oven for 2 weeks and then it stopped preheating. We were cooking a meal for the family and didn’t realize until 20 minutes in that the oven was not preheating…I set it for 425 and it never got above 216.
