beware of closet depth \ door opening!

my closet is a fairly typical reach-in: almost 7' wide x 2' deep. The door opening is a typical 5', with sliding mirror doors.
IF YOU'RE CLOSET SOUNDS SIMILAR, DO NOT BUY THIS ADD-ON!!!
If you use this closet system, you know the uprights are 22" apart. In a 7' closet, that amounts to 3 "sections" (i.e., you could fit 3 of these basket drawers across, if you wanted to). Actually, you CAN'T, and here's why:
You can't put them in the middle, because the sliding mirror doors cover the middle!
Here's the kicker... You can't put them of the left or right, because at 18" deep, you can get it only 6" open before it bonks the door frame!
Again, do not buy if you're closet is less than 36" deep
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No Installation Directions

It's unbelievable to me that no installation directions are included with this item and there are no directions on the web site. The distance between rails does not specify from inside to inside. I had to find that in the commonly asked questions. Does that tell you anything, Rubbermaid?

functionality

this is a very functional storage product. It is easy to put up and in 10 minutes you are putting you 'stuff' in the basket. Looks good and will support a big load of clothes or whatever. Very clean look and stackable - I got 2 of them and they are great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this basket as an add-on to a deluxe Configurations kit. Directions were a bit confusing, since you have to put the screws not quite at the end of the opening. I first put them at the end, but had to loosen and adjust so the bracket could connect to wall hanger.
One thing I do not love about the basket is that it sticks out a bit more than the shelves which I have installed beneath it. However, I am using it to store scarves and so far I love how having them in the basket makes it easy to see my collection!

I just bought two of these and I love the addition to my pantry. My only concern is there is no drawer stopper so, storing heavy items is not something I would recommend. I put it up high as it is a safety hazard for young children (and klutzy people like myself.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was easy to put together and works great.i put it together to go by my washer to hold all my laundry soaps and other stuff works great for what I need. I would recommend it to anybody who doesn't have cabinets to put stuff in.

I have this set up in my spare room that I use for crafts and small projects and this shelf is just the perfect size to hold everything without being overly large! I can't believe I went this long without one! I will, without a doubt, be getting a few more
