Not a good ear-bud with that price range

Nicer design, just OK sound

I purchased these about two weeks ago. HK was having a pretty high discount on them so that I got them for less than $20. The design and quality of materials is far above the $20 price I paid. However, the sound is only just competitive with many of the $20 headphones that I own. Their sound gets completely crushed by headphones I have in the $50 and higher price category. So at their original price, their sound performance is actually quite poor in my opinion.
I love the way they look, but I don't think the sound warrants more than the $20 cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good sound, comfy, but stiff cord...

Good sound and comfortable in the ears. Oddly enough, in-line controls work fine on my Android LG G3 (wasn't expecting that). I find the cords a bit too stiff but overall very pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Value and Sound Quality that Grows On You!

These were such a good deal at the time I couldn't pass but really wasn't expecting much especially based on some of the reviews I had read. I was wrong.
When I first plugged them into my iPad the first time, the sound was over-colored and a bit wonky. Figures. Then I check my settings and noticed I had turned on an EQ setting, so I reset to flat and started over. WOW! Much better but they still didn't knock my socks off.
I've been using them a few weeks now, and I've got to say each time I use them I notice more detail and definition that I ever got with my high end apple ear buds. I've read some reviews complaining about the lack of low end response, and not being much of a bottom feeder when it came to my musical tastes, didn't care much. But the bass response I get with these is deep, rich and well balanced. I've also listened for extended periods and find them quite comfortable. I am still using the ear gels that they shipped with because they are such a good fit, but think the other sizes would be better for other listeners.
HK has never struck me as a premium brand but they did a great job with these headphones. You'd really have to spend quite a bit more from anyone else's headphones to get this type of sound quality.

Only slightly better than Apple Earbuds

High trebles, could use a bit more Mid and Bass to balance the sound. Sound is hallow with too much trebles, needs Mids to balance it out. Bass is slight but the Apple Headphones have more of it. Cheaply made and not sealed very well as you can hear the loud noises just putting on the headphones. Pretty disappointed with this product as you would expect more from Harman Kardon.

I read some reviews on the headphones and people are flat out wrong. These headphones are plush and the fit well with excellent sound. My only small gripe is that remote stuff. A little more quality on remotes on headphones across the board.

Decent build, unacceptably poor sound quality

Purchased these heavily discounted and thought no brainer. Well, wrong on that. The build is decent but these have the worst sound quality of any earbud I have ever owned. Extremely tinny. NO good for music. Tried them for audio books and unacceptable even for that.
