No bass, no high!, just mid

i bought it about a week ago, and i used it once, I absolutely hate it, my $5 headphones are better, they provide more bass.

Bad fitting and design

Looking at the price and brand I bought these headphones thinking they might be comparable to likes of Bose, but realized they are not as good as skull candy when it comes to fitting in the ear.

Thin Sound

I read many reviews that complained about the bass on these headphones. In the current culture where head-rattling bass seems to be the prime criteria for audio equipment, I chose to ignore all these warnings, figuring I wasn't in that crowd. Should have listened. These things are so high frequency sensitive and so bass excluding as to be unlistenable. Without significant equalization the sound of a snare or trumpet will pierce your head like an icepick while any bass drum or guitar is completely gone.

Poor audio quality

These earphones remind of listening to audio through a tin can, except slightly more comfortable. You could do worse than these set of earphones, I suppose, since these at the very least have a nice and sturdy cable, but there is no overlooking the pathetic audio quality.

Great deal for $20, for $99 MSRP not so much

Having a pair of HK BT Large headphones and being overall happy with them, ive always secretly envied my wifes Monster DNA buds I got her when the big cans werent ideal. I saw a sale on there for $19.75, figured theyd be the perfect complement to my HK BT. When I received these, I quickly realized they fall short of the Monster DNA buds of the same $99 MSRP. Perhaps i dont have an audiophiles ear or was expecting too much being as the BT I have are great. Either way I was disappointed in the sound. I will add that for $20, you will not get a better headphone. My sister constantly buys buds from SkullCandy and other cheaper brands that usually break or she looses weekly for around $15, these HK NI are far more superior to those so if you can still get them for $20... dont even blink but if you can spend more look into other options.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Sound, Short Cord

The sound from these headphones is fantastic, but they have one critical design flaw- the cord is too short. Using them at my desk, the cord is too short to weave around my keyboard- I have to dangle it over my keyboard if I use them at work, which is extremely annoying. Trying to use them at the gym, I repeatedly pull my phone off tray on the treadmill.
As I mentioned, the sound is great, which is reason for 3 stars, but I've found myself using my cheap headphones again due to frustration from yanking the buds out of my ears or my phone onto the floor. Now knowing how short the cord is, I wouldn't buy them again. them again.

How good is too good?

I bought these a couple weeks back and for the short time that I had them, they sounded phenomenal. Unfortunately, my car was broken into solely for these earphones. I am now left with $500 in window repairs and no earphones :(
