Does not work as advertised

Burners put out uneven heat, the 12,000 btu center burners each put out different amount of heat from eachother, same with the rear 18,000 btu burners and the wok burner puts out a huge flame that leaves a ton of soot on the pans. I had service come out and they couldn't fix it. The burners also put out a different amount of heat in correlation to the control knob. If I keep the rear 18000 btu burner on 2, I have to keep the other on 4 for similar heat output. All burners also do not adjust properly, settings 1-3 are the same output as well as 4-7. Basically there are three heating settings, not the nine as the control knob suggests. Had this for about two years and am very unhappy. Would not recommend

Poor Design, Broken Knobs

⭐️ 1 Star – Poor Design, Knobs Constantly Break
We purchased the Café Series range top (model CGU366P4TW2) expecting high quality, but it’s been a huge disappointment. Four out of the six knobs are now broken, and they cannot be repaired. After the third one failed, it became clear this is a design flaw, not user error. For the price, I expected durability — not a product where basic functionality breaks down within a short time. Extremely frustrated and disappointed.

Quality is not the best

We purchased all cafe appliances for home. I love all of them except 36 inch cooktop. We have only had the cooktop a month. Already the finish has come off of the grates. Instead of black, they are now gray. Also, the burners burn the same weather on high or low. For the amount of money that the cooktop is, you would think it would be built better. My previous cooktop - a Jenn-air was 16 years old and the flame output was much more consistent. The grates also never discolored and looked as new as the day we bought it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Knobs look great, but are extremely flimsy

While this product looks great, I wouldn't recommend them for reliability. After less than two years, all but one of our knobs has cracked where they attach to the valve. Replacing these knobs costs a lot. I also had problems with other kitchen products from Café, so wouldn't recommend this brand for reliability.

clean flame - even and strong

Love the effortless cooking this cooktop enables for our family. Six burners give me max flexibility. Strong flame cooks evenly and allows me to fine tune intensity. Overall great looking cooktop.

This range is amazing. Plenty of space for you to cook multiple items at one time. Allows for even distribution of heat for some tasty meals. Highly recommend and it is definitely a talking point and focus in your kitchen.
