The knobs are bad design

It’s a good product except the knobs constantly break and it’s a hustle to get the parts as they send the wrong parts all the time, the knobs on this stove need be recalled personally as I on my second set of knobs in the last 2 years of owning it

Magnificent Cooktop

This 48" range is AMAZING!! So many incredible features its hard to choose my favorite but I use the griddle every morning to make my kids breakfast. The inspiral burner is also very cool. Our favorite burner is probably the multi ring burner.... it will boil almost instantly but can also be turned way down low to simmer. We also bought the grill attachment and have loved using it during the winter. All in all, I would give this cooktop more stars if it went higher than 5!! Also, while I was reading about these appliances, I noticed a review that said the burners could be accidentally turned on if bumped and that is not the case AT ALL!! You have to put them in and turn to ignite and then hold it in until it lights so it would be impossible to bump a knob and light one of the burners.

LP orifice

If you you have LP stay away from this unit!!! Who ever is installing the inspiral burner orifice is trashing it! It will not come out! GE has sent me a second unit but it has the same issue. Their customer service has been great but the top isn’t worth the trouble.

Amazing cooktop

The 48" cooktop is so nice to cook on. So much room, burners light up instantly and the variety of burners are to die for. The griddle has been so fun to use for bacon, burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches and pancakes. My husband even helps with the cooking now and he loves the instant flame. Super easy to clean as well.

Love the space

This is an amazing cooktop. I took away a star, because the knobs can be turned easy and turning on burners accidently. Which is weird, because normally you have to push the knob in to turn the knob. Sometimes people can walk by the cooktop and accidentally bump knobs and turn on the burner. But I love it overall!

Beautiful and Functional

Really want to love this high-performance cook top. BUT griddle only gets warm and can barely cook an egg, nowhere near the 450 degrees in the specs. Other than a non-functioning griddle (shipped and installed with the wrong parts, right ones on back order) this performs as it should.

Stylish cooktop, Great Griddle!

The 48 inch wide cooktop is definitely a conversation piece when installed on an island. Be aware it is very large since most normal cooktops vary between 30 and 36 inches wide. The extra foot wide for the griddle is worth it though. Cooks very evenly.
