Great cooktop, one small flaw, but satisfied.

This is a quality cooktop, but at a reasonable price. The six burners are all great and varied for different applications and they are powerful. The construction is solid, the knobs have a smooth feel, the grates are appropriately heavy. The only flaw, which kept me from giving it 5 stars is that the griddle is not detachable for cleaning in the sink (which it should be) which makes it harder to keep clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stylish cooktop, Great Griddle!

The 48 inch wide cooktop is definitely a conversation piece when installed on an island. Be aware it is very large since most normal cooktops vary between 30 and 36 inches wide. The extra foot wide for the griddle is worth it though. Cooks very evenly.

Beautiful and Functional

Really want to love this high-performance cook top. BUT griddle only gets warm and can barely cook an egg, nowhere near the 450 degrees in the specs. Other than a non-functioning griddle (shipped and installed with the wrong parts, right ones on back order) this performs as it should.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing cooktop

The 48" cooktop is so nice to cook on. So much room, burners light up instantly and the variety of burners are to die for. The griddle has been so fun to use for bacon, burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches and pancakes. My husband even helps with the cooking now and he loves the instant flame. Super easy to clean as well.

Wonderful Cooktop!

This is just what I've been longing for! This is not only beautiful, it's functional! The side griddle heats up evenly, and the range is large enough for all burners to be use use and accommodate my pots and pans! Like I said, wonderful! My only recommendation is for an enhanced griddle. It took a few rounds of cooking and trial/error clean-up, to determine what the best cleaning method was. The griddle reservoir only holds 1 cup of water, so when cleaning, don't pour more than 1 cup of water or it will overflow! Otherwise, this is a 5 star product.

Love the space

This is an amazing cooktop. I took away a star, because the knobs can be turned easy and turning on burners accidently. Which is weird, because normally you have to push the knob in to turn the knob. Sometimes people can walk by the cooktop and accidentally bump knobs and turn on the burner. But I love it overall!

LP orifice

If you you have LP stay away from this unit!!! Who ever is installing the inspiral burner orifice is trashing it! It will not come out! GE has sent me a second unit but it has the same issue. Their customer service has been great but the top isn’t worth the trouble.
