I wish I had gotten these a long time ago! All the songs I love sound incredibly amazing. They sound brand new and fresh almost like hearing them for the first time. Truly hearing them the first time. The speakers go so loud so clear without hurting your ears. The fives are more than just sound they are feeling blasting your favorite sounds through your body. You don't have to have an overpriced music player to have true overwhelming sound. These powered speakers are powerful and can handle any form of music you want to push through them. I have high-end passive speakers my dad brought home from Vietnam. And now I have the fives which I will pass on to my children like my father passed on to me. But these are actually amazing speakers. I can't imagine any improvement that could surpass the way they sound now. Music is a wonderful thing and the fives make music spiritual and awe inspiring. Thank you!

Outstanding sound quality

I use these as desk speakers. The unit is coupled via Toslink to a Brennan B2. I can only say that this system provides a live sound stage I never imagined. The B2 has an EQ so I can reduce the base that a lot of people seem to complain about. The issue some people describe about the speakers going to sleep occurs when you connect with 3.5 mm connection and run the volume of the transmitting device too low. After connecting to the Toslink, I have not had any issues and the clarity of the music is outstanding.

These speakers are amazing, the sound is perfection and with a subwoofer (SPL-100) on the side its a live concert for music and a home theater for movies. Would recommend to anyone looking for great quality sound packed in two speakers.

Covet Worthy

After 12 years, my AudioEngine 5s gave out. While looking at AudioEngine comparison articles Klipsch 'The Fives' were suggested. Since shifting to flac audio sources, I decided quality speakers were an important consideration. The clarity, space and depth of 'The Fives' revealed "new" elements in music I'd listened to many times before. It was like hearing some songs for the very first time. The bass is powerful and clean. Perhaps a bit much for my neighbors. ;-) I might need to move to fully enjoy these babies! The various connection options are also a major upgrade from my old speakers. 'The Fives' have been a brilliant reminder of the wisdom in the cliche "you get what you pay for". These speakers are worth every cent. I'll be coveting them for many years to come.

Excellent speakers, sounds organic, clear and detailed. Perfect to stream audio or to connect to your turntable with the analog terminals it sounds bold and you fills like in a recording studio or small concert. Excellent materials, you can feel the wood texture and the real wood smells so good. I'm extremely happy with this monitors.

Truly Mind Blowing!

To start let me tell you my background. I grew up with my uncle who has 2 Chorus II’s, 2 Kg4’s and sense then I have been addicted to the sound of Klipsch. So much that I tracked down and bought 2 Forte’s and 2 Kg4’s. Both were built in the 80’s and still sound like nothing else. No speaker manufacturer can stand up to Klipsch on sound
quality and reliability and the pure fact the heritage series will last a lifetime. I purchased these tiny “The Five” speakers expecting they will sound good sense it’s Klipsch. Let me tell you, they ROCK! They sound amazing. They are like a mini Chorus II. Where mine are positioned I couldn’t imagine needing a Sub. If you have a large open room you may want a sub, for me it’s not even necessary. The bass is deep, the mids are spot on and the highs are clear. They truly blow my Sonos Arc out of the water. If I had heard these speakers first, I never would have bought the Sonos. The one star and two star reviews on here are totally irrelevant. I have not had those issues at all. KLIPSCH… PLEASE MAKE THE CHORUS II’s AGAIN. PLEASE ADD THEM TO YOUR HERITAGE SERIES, I WILL BUY THEM TODAY IF THEY WERE AVAILABLE. Klipsch Please contact me via email and let me know your heritage series plans.
