perfection from a compact design

they sound great at any volume, but beats anything else I've heard at the lower volumes that you might use while working. I hear all the frequencies and these sound just as good as the various larger reference premiere speakers I have around the house. crisp and clean highs, smooth and clear mids and lows. size is perfect for a desk, where I have them for a work-from-home setup. one of the things I like the best about klipsch is how realistic instruments sound and how they feel placed around the room, this really shines for alternative rock, though hip-hop sounds great too.... alright that's enough gushing, I'm becoming a klipsch fan boy.

High Quality and straight forward setup HDMI ARC hinge plus

I have this system hooked up to a Samsung Q6FN tv. Setup was very easy and they look fantastic in my living room. Movies and music sound especially well. For gaming I noticed the bass seems to drown out other noises especially in first person shooters. Also had a slight issue when using the Netflix and Amazon prime apps on the TV audio was not working even though I had PCM already selected. After about an hour I found out that if I opened Netflix and switch from PCM to Bitstream and back to PCM while in the app it started working. That issue seemed to have nothing to do with the product but might be something to look at for other Samsung tv owners. Overall highly reccomend.
Pros: Clear sound, Quality Materials
Cons: A little heavy on the bass for gaming

Amazing little beans

I purchased these guys 8 months ago and I'm so glad I did. These things are incredible for how much you pay and for how small they are.
The sound quality is so good i still stare at these in shock. These things are 12 inches tall and they sound like a floorstanding cinema speaker! They really handle business like its nothing like these things just beg me to keep turning up the volume. Highly dynamic tracks and movies are nothing for these dudes no matter how much is going on at once they handle it. These sound so sweet and rich and yet so violent and aggressive it gets my heart pumping and if I'm watching a movie and something loud hits out of nowhere it makes me jump lol the punch and slam on this cone is ridiculous and it makes sense since its using a 1.5 inch voice coil. Its just so engaging ill sit and listen to music for 3 hours and not even realize how much time just passed because I just get lost in the sound. The reproduction is so accurate and perfect they can highlight well mixed tracks and poorly mixed tracks very well. Its like these are just micro fortes. I also wanna add that im using these with the Klipsch SPL-100 sub which I feel for the money is a perfect match. Using a sub with these really unlocks the potential even though its not required at all the midrange and tweeter open up so much and sound much more realistic. I'd say if you have the extra money get an svs 1000 pro series sub or an emotiva rs11 sub for perfect blending between the speakers and to match the tone of the paper cone.
Getting the placement, toe in, and firmware update for extra bass settings is extremely important for getting the most out of these since they're so revealing and have so much bass. Its very easy to buy these plug them in and think these are just okay speakers which is just not the case. These were very very very well engineered. Also break in period is important with these I noticed for the first month of using these the sound was a bit tinny and harsh but after that they've been sounding amazing. I couldn't be any happier with these.
I've also gotten to compare these to the RP600m and RP6000f with a marantz 7015av and these little dudes keep up no problem like yeah the marantz system has better instrument separation and detail retrieval but the fives have more engagement and what I feel is a more accurate reproduction of the source material and being that the fives are so much less money its amazing that they can even keep up and actually have aspects I think are better. The engineering with the active crossover and dsp with a well braced cabinet just gives the fives such an advantage for the money. The fives are just a league of their own you'll either not like them at all or absolutely love them especially if you put in the time to get the placement and toe in perfect like almost any klipsch. I would highly recommend these as a solid soundbar shredder especially in the music department.

Incredible out of the box, phenomenal with sub

Impressed with The Fives right out of the box and expected that based on reviews. What I didn't expect was how much the highs and mids opened up after adding a very modest sub (Jamo S810 10"). Out of the box The Fives are fantastic but with a sub (even a budget compact sub) they are truly amazing. These little speakers have top quality sound with the looks and build quality to match.

I listen to a ton of music through my TV, Pandora. I watch a ton of news. I bought a denon heos home cinema bar, it was the absolute worst. Harsh, tinny, abrasive, turned thr treble to nothing, still bad. Absolutely unbearable. I had a Polk previously (it was fine, but a little glitchy.) So I decide to simply eat the heos system, give it to someone and maybe they could enjoy it. I bought the klipsch fives and all of the problems disappeared. Smooth buttery sound, clear deep base (no need for a sub). So easy to hook up and pair. Plenty of volume. Instantly paired to my TV remote. The smoothness of this sound and the clarity of this sound along with the depth of the sounds and tones can not be over stated. These are the perfect replacement for any soundbar and the enjoyment of the music is just unreal. You will not be disappointed

Keeping this short and sweet as we just received these speakers. It's magic how much balanced bass come out of them. The connectivity it's fantastic and one of a kind from what I know (the multiple audio inputs plus Bluetooth). They are beautiful, we went with the black with the gold screen and it sits nicely on our dark wood table. Highly recommend and look no further!

We use these first to listen to music but also as a 2.1 channel home theater er system. I added a sub, not due to a lack of bass, but because I wanted more flexibility in placement and using a sub allowed me to place these a little closer to the wall without getting boomy. I think they sound great and have zero complaints. They appear well made and look good in the room. About a week after I received them the amplifier failed. I called Klipsch and they immediately issued a warranty approval and said they'd be sending me the replacement part. It arrived in a few days and took less than 10 minutes to install. Most companies would have made me pack them up and send the whole thing back. All products will have issues from time to time and in my opinion you learn a lot about the company by the way they deal with issues when they come up. Stellar customer service. I really am enamored with the combination of sound quality and simplicity. I hope some EQ functionality is eventually added to the app. Right now it is useful only for updating the firmware and registration.
Pros: Excellent soundstage, HDMI ARC is a game changer, Incredible bass response from a small speaker, Simplifies life without an external amplifier, You can connect almost anything

Versatile Home Speakers

I found that listening to music, movies, or even sports broadcasts were higher quality than any sound bar configuration I've ever experienced. After enjoying the speakers for a month, I decided to pair them with a Klipsch subwoofer, which I feel really unleashed the full capacity of The Fives. The sub/speaker combo proved to be intense enough for fully immersing in a modern action movie, while refined enough to appreciate a wonderful piece of jazz. While the sound quality wasn't a surprise, the esthetics were a pleasant one. The Fives look great in our living space, even becoming a point of conversation with friendly company. All in All, I am very pleased with this product.
Pros: Esthetically Pleasing, Loud, Quality sound
Cons: Best if paired with external subwoofer
