Kicks like a mule

Don't let the size fool you, these blow my old sound bar away. I'm no audiophile, and these are the first decent speakers i've ever bought, but you can certainly detect individual instrument sounds distinct from each other, cymbals, snare, bass, high brass sounds so clear. I can't always pick that up on my sound bar. There is output for a sub, but really these speakers offer plenty. Within six feet you can feel certain lower pitches in your body. If you're looking for something to replace your sound bar I would consider these speakers.

I purchased these for my garage/workout/man cave to replace some older Bose satellites. Wow.... very impressive sound. One of the easiest Bluetooth connections I've used. Gorgeous speakers (went with walnut and gray). I don't connect a sub, so as a true stereo setup these have excellent range on their own. Am already thinking of where to place another set of these inside my home. Not quite as amazing as my other Klipsch tower/atmos/media room setups, but for what they are i can't imagine finding a better solution.
A bit lacking in the mids. Bass is over zealous, I’ve had to modify EQ to my liking. Great off the shelf solution, would recommend to others. Sound full at low volume
Awesome sound, and perfect for space with TV mounted on the wall. Didn’t work with the TV at first, but after installing the latest firmware update (5.8.0 as of July) with a usb stick it works great, and now has 3 levels of bass that you can adjust to (dynamic bass, flat, bass cut)! Bass cut mode is great b/c we have to have speakers close to the wall, but fun to have the other bass settings as well. See this thread for more info: https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/196408-the-fives-usb-drivers-bass-cut-mode-in-new-software-575/page/2/
And for firmware update: https://www.klipsch.com/firmware?product=115490&serial=
Also sounds like there should be EQ adjustment capability added to the Klipsch Connect app soon…

I was using a high-end Canadian 5.1 set-up in our small living room for both A/V and streaming (high-end A/V receiver with certified high-def wired/wireless). There simply was not enough room to make a center channel and rears work. Instead, after several years of frustration, I looked for a 2 channel set-up from B&W, Bose, Sonos, and custom units with JL sub / Focal mids/highs and then chanced these "Fives" - so glad I did. These were the set-up I was hankering for and didn't know it. Now I do and after a quick break-in period, I am smitten. It would take at least a three-fold increase in cost to best these Fives.
Pros: As many connections as a set of Lego blocks, Shocking amount of bass from 4.5 inch mains, Tremendously clean gobs of power, Tweeters have amazing clarity
Cons: Would like an App!

I just bought The Fives and I must say, i am a very satisfied customer. With it's retro style it looks beautiful and sober and yet it's a wolf in a sheeps costume. I am going to have a long relationship with The Fives streaming hours and hours of music.
Got these thinking they'd be an upgrade on my Audioengine A5+ worked fine for a couple of weeks. Updated the firmware via the connect app on (04/05/2023) now they won't play any audio via bluetooth. I have them connected to my computer and phone via bluetooth because I have a minimalist desk setup and didn't want a bunch of wires coming off the back of my speaker & now they're just a glorified desk ornament. Just disappointed because they actually sound pretty decent.
