I have many klipsch products, Cornwall IV's, RP-8000F II's, RP-F6000 II's, 2 pair of The SIXES as well as many subs. I just purchased a pair of The FIVES. I couldn't be more impressed with these little bombshells. 5 STARS !!!

I connected this set to my living room tv, was hyped because I could get a great set of speakers without a separate receiver. When setting them up, the switch to set the primary speaker as left/right broke off. Then I discovered that the wire connecting to the other speaker was shorter than I would have liked. After getting them set, I started listening and liked the way they sound. But when I tried to turn the volume up past around 80% I would get loud pops, which I assume is a built in limiter of some kind kicking in?? Bottom line, a great set of speakers if you don't expect them to play very loud.
Pros: All in one solution, Attractive, Simple to setup
Boy I sure was looking forward to getting these speakers from the legendary Klipsch….. but they were disappointing. Remote control worked less than 30 % of the time. Sound was tinny and vague. Disappointing enough that I never tried the app or wireless connectivity. Just boxed them back up and sending back tomorrow.
No subwoofer necessary! These sound clear, crisp, deep, and loud! The connection options are about the best I can think of, and they are all plug-and-play!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm having trouble using the 5s built in pre-amp. Written instructions little help. Online instructions say to use "line" option on switch. I do that, get nothing, no sound at all. (Turntable has no preamp.) When I switch to "phono," however, i get full sound (even if i expected to be a tad fuller), even though instructions on Klipsch clearly say use phono switch only for external preamp. What am I missing? thanks

It's a very classy and small speakers. easy to use sound much better than it should for the price.
Very enjoyable speakers that are flexible in their input capabilities without needing a receiver. They sound great overall, but can be very bass heavy until you select the right volume/sub level. My initial order had an issue, and I needed to exchange faulty speakers for a new pair & the process was very easy.
I wish there was a more control to adjust lows/mids/highs, all this includes is a sub & overall volume adjustment.
Overall, I think they provide a really rich & full sound so I am really pleased. And I can't wait to get my first record player & be able to easily listen to records in addition to using bluetooth & other wired connections. That feature is what made me want these in the first place
