Great pair of desktop speakers to pair with Turn t

I bought these powered speakers to pair with a Pro-ject Debut Carbon Evo turn table and to stream digitally to them from external devices (Alexa and phone). I was going for simplicity since I didn't own any audio equipment and was tight on space. They are so versatile and I was blown away at how easy they were to setup and the sound was impressive. I have been wondering if I could get a better soundstage from an external pre-amp (instead of what was included in the speakers), but for now i'm satisfied and have chosen to upgrade my phono cartridge instead. My next move is to incorporate the speakers in with my TV and then i'll be all setup.

Bought a pair for my father in law and myself. They work just as good in his big living room as they do in my small living room. Really projects sound in a way that’s hard to believe. Somehow where hear things behind us. Best thing about them is how musical they are and how much bass they have for such a small speaker.

beautiful craftmanship, easy hook-up, great sound! I'm using it with a smaller subwoofer, and that, too connected easily, and even without the sub, the bass is surprisingly full. working 2 jobs right now, so not a lot of down time, but I can't wait until I can crank it up and see how many neighbors I can annoy

I just bought a set of Fives, upgrading from the R-41PM's all I can say is WOW exemplary very crisp sound people and I put them through the test they didn't waiver one bit. I do have one other piece of advise for all you music lovers R-120SW subwoofer it's like putting a cherry on your ice cream sundae

Great sound, superb outlook but...

I am overall happy with what speakers deliver when playing music, movies or just how they look on my shelf. This could have been 5 stars some years ago with just a tiny remote control to switch on and operates the speakers. The connectivity is absent with exception of firmware update (done once in 8 months...) while in 2020 I would have expected something more on how switch on and control the music. I read somewhere that it is coming, but so far, nothing
