Fantastic TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am totally impressed with this TV. Not only does it have gorgeous visuals, it has so many addditional values. It comes with a grid-like tv guide for both OTA and cable channels (most other brands don't). It comes with so many streaming apps, i dont need my ROKU anymore. It comes with PC on TV - I can hook up a mini bluetooth keyboard without using a USB port and connect to and control any of my pc's. Casting anything on my iPhone screen is a breeze with Screen Mirroring. I can use the microphone button to search in any app. There's an OK Google as well as an Alexa app. I've only had this great TV for 2 weeks and am still discovering great functions. AND THE PICTURE IS PHENOMENAL!

We love all the features, including the ambient option which even my dogs love. This was a great investment.

Even My Wife Loves Our Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love gadgets and gizmos, but my wife gets frustrated with new technologies. She has fallen in love with the picture and sound of this Samsung TV. But as much as she enjoys the picture and sound, she really appreciates the user friendly smart TV interface and simple to use remote. She goes to the home bar and moves around to find all of her steaming services. When Momma’s happy and all that. For me I love being able to drill down to make tweaks on some of the technical features. The other thing I like is how well it plays well with my tuner amplifier.

The refresh rate is more than expected smooth crystal clear display, gaming on this TV is nuts it performs above and beyond what I had expected I think I'm going to buy another one for my office to do my power point presentations for work on it it's amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this Tv 06/09/21 So far no issues! Beautiful display decent sounding facorty speakers unlike most flatscreens. My biggest complaints so far are the full array back light causes a haze on dark scenes and even though the TV is 120hz everything plugged into the HDMI ports only runs in 60hz. This TV also automatically turns on what ever device the TVs input is on which is nice at first but can be extremely annoying at the same time. Besides that overall I love it with minimal complaints!

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q80A TV and for sharing details of your image quality. Quantum Dot technology powers over a billion brilliant shades of vivid and lifelike colors that stay true regardless of the scene’s brightness. To optimize your picture quality, please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1560.5 which includes picture quality updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

You may want to enable Auto Update for convenience.

To ensure your gaming console is optimized for 120Hz gameplay, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1) Check to make sure you are running the latest firmware on your TV.
2) Be sure you are connected to HDMI 4.
3) Turn on Input Signal Plus. Depending on the console you are using, you will need to turn this on or it will not recognize the 4K functionality. Press Home and navigate to Settings> General > External Device Manager > Input Signal Plus and turn it on for HDMI4.
4) Make sure Game Mode is turned to 'On' or 'Auto'. Go to: Settings > General > External Device Manager > Game Mode Settings > Game Mode = 'On/Auto'.

Depending on the console you are using, you may need to enable various settings in the menu there as well.

If you do not want your TV to turn on external devices when powering on, please disable Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC). You can disable this by going to Settings > General > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) = 'Off'.
