[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quality of picture is excellent...the apps and remote were very different than older model and took a little while to get used to. The screen is tough to get streak free even with electronic wipes and cloth

Hi Teek,
Thank you for choosing Samsung's Q80A TV and for your review. I am glad to hear you are enjoying the picture quality of your new TV! We appreciate you sharing your experience with us. To assist you in learning the various functions and settings of your new Solar Cell remote, you can download the Solar Cell Remote Guide directly from Samsung’s website by clicking “Support” in the top right corner. Then go to “Manuals & Software” > “TVs & Home Theater” > “TVs”. From there, you can select the Q80A under "QLED 4K TVs” > "A Model Lineup". Additionally, you can find other guides and manuals to further assist you with your TV’s features.
When cleaning your TV's screen, please keep in mind the following: - Power off your TV before cleaning. Leaving your TV off for 5-10 minutes prior to cleaning will allow the screen to cool down and prevent excessive streaking. - Carefully wipe using a soft, dry cloth to avoid scratches - Do not use any chemicals such as wax, benzene, alcohol, thinners, insecticide, air fresheners, lubricants, or detergents - Do not spray water or any liquid directly onto the TV

Sometimes can be buggy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had the tv for about a week now and from time to time it won’t detect my sounds system of my PC and refuse to connect even though they are on and plugged in to the tv. When it does work picture quality is good.
Response from Samsung USBy Samsung Specialist, Samsung Brand Ambassador, July 6, 2021
Hi Priestofmaiden,
Thank you for choosing Samsung's Q80A TV and for your review. When you are connecting your devices that supply 4K content to your TV, like an Xbox One X, Xbox One S, Playstation 4 Pro, UHD Blu-ray player, PC, Roku player, or anything else there is one very important step you need to do on your Samsung TV. You need to enable UHD HDMI Color (Input Signal Plus).
Navigate to Settings > General > External Device Manager.
Select UHD HDMI Color (Input Signal Plus).
Connect an HDMI cable (with an adapter, if necessary) into your computer, and connect the other end into the desired HDMI IN port on the TV. Make sure the cable is properly attached. Then, use the remote to navigate to Home, and then select Source. From there, select the PC as the video source.
If the TV has difficulties connecting to your PC due to surrounding radio interference, change the frequency of the wireless access band, and then try to connect.
I hope this helps. Should you need further assistance, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM -12AM EST M-F (9AM – 6PM EST Sat). Or text HELP to 62913.

Alright but need remote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only issue I really had Was that I had to have a remote in order to change the input Device. So if you ever lose the remote control then you're going to have to probably get a universal remote to Easily change input.
Response from Samsung USBy Samsung Specialist, Samsung Brand Ambassador, July 6, 2021
Hi ETlol,
Thank you for choosing Samsung's Q80A QLED 4K Smart TV and for your review. We appreciate your feedback regarding the remote. The Solar Cell remote included with your TV will allow you to change input devices. You can control your connected devices (cable box, gaming system, etc) using your TV remote by following these set-up steps:
1) Connect an external device to the HDMI port of the TV, and then power on the external device. Your TV will automatically recognize the device when connected through HDMI, and will switch the output. If it doesn't automatically detect it, then keep following the steps to set up Universal Remote.
2) Press the Home button on your TV remote to access the Home Screen. Using the directional pad on the remote, navigate to Source. When the selector is placed over Source, the Source menu will appear. Press UP on the directional pad to access Universal Remote.
3) Select Universal Remote on the Source screen. Next, select Start and make sure the device you want to connect is turned on. When your desired device displays, select it. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup and register the device. The instructions may vary, depending on the device type selected.
4) Your TV and the remote will memorize the external device and its connection port (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc.) to make controlling everything even easier. Occasionally, the device may not respond after it's registered. To make sure the connection is made, you need to re-register the device.
We also recommend enabling Anynet+ which controls external devices that are connected to the TV via an HDMI cable, and will turn on/off when you turn the TV on/off.
To turn on the Anynet+ function of a device connected to the TV, turn on the Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) function of the device. Go to: Settings > General > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC).
I hope these tips help. Should you ever have questions or need help, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM -12AM EST M-F (9AM – 6PM EST Sat). Or text HELP to 62913.
