Our favorite new Samsung TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes our 4th Samsung TV and I am happy to say, it's our favorite. (All four TVs are still preforming as well as when we purchased) The Geek Squad completed the installation for us. The size is perfect and the picture quality is superb! Especially love the solar chargeable remote - plus you can charge using a USB cable as well. The store sales rep and the Geek Squad installers were top notch. Highly recommend this TV and for the Geek Squad to install it for you!!

Alexa Doesn't work up to par

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture is great, I mostly use it for OTA and streaming. I do not use gaming so I can't review that. The only problem that I have is that Alexia doesn't always work. Once the set is on it does not respond all the time, or it will say it is fulfilling the command, but nothing happens. The other problem is that Alexia will not turn on the TV0. I am using WIFI, but it just won't turn on.

Hi DanGo,

Thank you for choosing Samsung’s Q80A TV and for sharing your experience with built-in Alexa functionality. Please know that voice commands may differ with each voice assistant.
We suggest you check the command examples for each voice assistant.
Settings > General > Voice > Amazon Alexa Settings

When the TV is far from you or the ambient noise is too loud, the TV may be unable to recognize your voice. For the best results, you will need to be within 10 feet of your TV. Please look at your TV screen and speak.

If you haven’t already, we recommend turning on the Voice Wake-up function as well. Press the microphone button on your remote, then go to: Explore Now > Settings > Voice Wake-up.

You may also want to try re-pairing your remote to your TV by doing the following:
1) Long press the RETURN key and ENTER key together for about 10 seconds you’re your remote was once paired already with the TV, you do not need to re-pair it again. However, if it was not paired with the TV, pairing must be done after the reset.
2) The RETURN key is on the left side of your remote and looks like a curved, backwards pointing arrow.
3) The ENTER key is the button in the center of your directional ring.

If your remote is still not working properly or its response is slow, please check the remaining battery of the Smart Remote by going to Settings > General > Power and Energy Saving > Available Remote Battery.
