great clarity in picture

The Samsung TV's provide the quality we need.

Couldn’t ask for more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this tv mounted in my living room and I can honestly I’ve never had a better viewing experience. I didn’t expect to have such a dramatic upgrade in picture moving from a regular hdtv to my Samsung but I have been blown away. Not only is the picture great but the speakers are great too. They work so well you don’t need to add a sound bar to get great sound to fill your room. I would highly recommend this tv to everyone.

Thank you for choosing Samsung's Q80A TV and for sharing your experience with your TV's image quality. You mentioned you've purchased a new HDMI cable - if you are not already, we recommend using a High-Speed cable with Ethernet Channel, labeled as HEC or HEAC on the cable.
I see you have already upgraded your set-top box as well; if you are currently utilizing a digital cable or satellite box and changed the output resolution to UHD or HD, here are some additional tips to help improve the picture clarity:
- Adjust your TV's sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings
- Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
