Though the UI for software should be more simpler like Roku
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought 4 months ago and already having to schedule a service call due to sound and backlight working but no picture.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible lifespan.

Bought this tv at the end of 2021, so have only had it a little over a year and it's already dead - of course just after the warranty expired. Black screen with an occasional low light flash. We've rebooted, reset, etc. and nothing helped. This is probably our 4th or 5th Samsung tv and we've been happy with them until now. This is probably the last one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dead Pixels

My TV had dead pixels appear in the middle of the screen 368 days after purchase or in other words 3 days outside of warranty. After talking with support I will be on the hook for paying to get it repaired which is hundreds of dollars for a new screen. DO NOT BUY, if this was an isolated incident they would cover the repairs. This screams that it is a common problem they cant afford to cover.

If you plan on pc gaming at all dont get this tv!!

Dont buy this tv seriously or any of its line if you are using it for pc gaming regardless of what the website says if your product doesnt work their tech support will gaslight you and tell you its a compatability issue. My gtx 3080 is compatible with the tv which is advertised and on the manual it says it can run the resolution i wanted and the tech support kept telling me it wasnt compatible and passing me around. Nvidia confirmed this was a tv issue and not a compatability issue as tech said when they blamed the video card.

Purchased November 2021, and failed October 2023. First, Earc HDMI failed. Then a continous no internet message on the screen. Now, blinking red stand-by light and no screen. Complete waste of 3k!!! Thanks Samsung.
