It's one of the best TV's we have owned and we are definitely getting another one soon, bigger one, for our family and friends to enjoy.

Worth every penny

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is used in a large rec room with skylights for general viewing day and night as well as movies, usually at night. I was going to buy a simpler version, but wanted good daytime viewing as well as fairly wide viewing angles. The controlled, distributed backlighting makes this worth every penny. Motion artifacts are minimal, even watching sports or serious CGI movies.
I'm glad I upped my budget, as this TV is amazing! Watching in the dark is so lifelike you have to recalibrate your mind to what you're seeing. And watching in daylight is excellent, even overcoming reflections on the screen!
There is not a ton of 4k content yet, but the upconversion to 4k is not that different from native 4k. Even the sound from this beast of a TV is amazing.
Although the TV itself is less than 100 pounds, the stand adds around 15 pounds, and the box as shipped says it weighs 167 pounds- it feels like more, lol! It is about a foot larger than the TV vertically and horizontally! The packaging alone is a wonder to behold, but you definitely want 2 people to move the box and remove the TV and assemble the stand or a mount.
