The best television I have ever owned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Samsung television. It is absolutely the best tv I have ever had. The picture is so crisp and detailed that it makes it seem like you are looking at an extension of the room you are in. I use my tv to stream movies and tv shows that I love. It has the applications I prefer preinstalled on it such as Netfix, Peacock, Amazon video, and many more. There is no lagging or constant buffering like my old tv. (No my internet is not faster now it is definitely the tv!) I used to think there was not very many differences in different brand televisions and buying the cheaper tv was practical and logical. Man. I know now Samsung in general is just better hands down! The brand does matter. So buy Samsung!

Not bad for the cost

- Amazing picture quality with HDR10+
- No screen burn concerns
- 4K 120 Hz
- New solar remote
- Built-in Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Samsung Bixby with voice search support
CONS:
- No native Dolby Vision / Atmos support
- Solar panel on the remote control is on the backside, which makes no sense
- features like Motion smoothing cannot be turned off for streaming applications

Thank you for choosing the Samsung Q80A TV and for your review. For optimal motion image performance, please know you can adjust the picture clarity setting by going to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings

- Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off
- Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
- Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction.

To ensure that your preferred settings stay after adjustments are made, go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Apply Picture Settings = All Sources

The sound quality is above standard. Not to mention the ability to share screens is amazing. I love everything samsaung to be honest. I am never disappointed

Great picture quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great picture quality. Sometimes when using multiple apps the app you are currently using will crash. Not enough on board storage. Would be nice to be able to delete pre-installed app that are not utilized. 120 hz refresh rate is nice for gaming. Works perfectly with my new xbox.

Thank you for choosing the Q80A QLED TV and taking the time to share your experience with apps. If your apps are freezing, not loading, or crashing, you can try cold booting your TV by holding down the power button on your remote for 5+ sec until the TV turns off and on again, deleting and downloading the apps again, and completing full reset of Smart Hub to correct the issue.

Please also check that your TV is running the latest firmware version. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

Additionally, to optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care.
