Great Refigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to store items, Cooling is very efficient. Refrigerator and freezer actually cool to set temperatures without waiting a week or more as out 11-month-old GE did before it quit. The Samsung is a much better product. GE may be made in the USA but JUNK. Nice job Samsung.....

Ice maker Issues

I am having an issue with my icemaker. Seems like it is consistently running out of ice or jamming.Moreover , ice sprays all over the floor unless you really hold your glass up tight into the discharge tube. I’m disappointed there’s not a discharge shield to direct the ice directly into the glass as other refrigerators have. Finally, there was no metal or rubber pad under the icemaker dispenser to collect water and/or loose ice and you have to press your glass hard against the sensor to make the ice come out. Extremely disappointed. I’ll probably put this refrigerator in the garage as an extra dishwasher and buy a GE monogram instead. I’ve had it with Samsung. I have been buying Samsung appliances for a long time, but this is the end of the line. It would’ve been nice if somebody would’ve responded to my messages and emails about the additional part that I need, but to no avail.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
