Lots of space, but terribly designed

despite the size of this fridge, not a single shelf in it is tall enough to fit a 2-liter of soda in; not to mention that there is no light in the water dispenser, and there's in intermittent dripping noise from the back of the fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I live my fridge, More inside room than my old fridge, connected to my phone so I kind of track the fridge activity. On issue I have that they do not have light with the water/ice which make it difficult on the kids if they decided to drink water at night.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Style and color

my husband loves this refrigerator. he enjoys the ice maker which makes cube and crushed ice. the style is nice with the color fitting of other appliances. this refrigerator is big enough for a two family household for freezer food and refrigerator food. my concern is the shelves do not adjust. i purchase 2 liter soda often and can't stand them up. i lay them down on a shelf and they go flat in no time. we also have to adjust the temp because it gets to cold in both the frig and freezer. we hear the ice maker alot with the dripping of water

this is an impressive fridge. i had a bad experience with a samsung microwave so i was reluctant to try the fridge but i was glad i did. it holds temperature perfectly throughout the whole interior (something my previous frigidaire failed at).
i see a frequent complaint about the ice machine, which at first is severely inadequate with ice production. however, i set the temp to -8 and gave it a few weeks and it keeps up perfectly and this is with a family of 6. it makes ice quickly and i just had to take some of the ice out because it was getting too full. also love the recessed handles, so the kids won't break them like last fridge.

The worse fridge ever

this is a poorly designed and worse fridge i ever purchased. the bottom drawers are so deep that i need an elf to help me get items from the bottom. the water dispenser is horrible especially if you have a small glass. the spout is at the outer end of the dispenser so i am constantly spilling water on the floor. worse part, if i have a power failure the entire fridge shuts down and you have to unplug and wait a full 5 minutes (no less) and plug in to make it work again. this means i have to pull the fridge out of the wall and reach in the back to unplug. i cant say enough bad things about this fridge and think samsung should stick to making phones and tablets.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

spacious and intelligent design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This "side by side" design is hard to get these days. I used both this style and the french door style two freezer drawers at the bottom. The side-by-side design is much more convenient for me. I can see everything both in the freezer and in the refrigerator. It is quiet and spacious, and the shelves are flexible. The doors close smoothly and tightly.

Large capacity is great feature....

this is a large capacity unit. however, the ice maker capacity is not and i do not recommend for a household with more than two people.
we purchased this unit partly because the ice make on our old unit went out. i was buying bags of ice at least twice weekly. i still have to buy ice.
and, the ice make stops working/jams every other week. i then have to take the ice holder out and clean it of backed-up ice (which creates a mess).
i am soooooooo very disappointed with this purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Refrigerator!
